DAX for 2021

Yes! - we intend to hold all three DAX shows for 2021. There will be some changes due to the current health crisis, but we are adapting to bring you and your clients the best possible shows this industry will see in 2021. Here are some of the adaptations we're implementing to help you meet your clients while keeping everybody safe:

Socially distanced floor plans:
Each show will be designed with a regular floor plan and a distanced floor plan with wider one-way aisles and at least 6 feet between each exhibitor's booth and the booth next to them. At least 30 days prior to the event we will announce which floor plan will be used. In the event that the distanced floor plan is put into service, corner charges will not be accessed as every booth will receive corner placement.

New cleaning procedures:
Hand sanitizing stations will be set throughout each hall. Our Chicagoland facility now features a negative-pressure HVAC system similar to those in hospitals. Our Kansas City facility has installed a rapid disinfectant system to sanitize the entire hall in roughly 1/2 hour. Please note: we will not carpet the Kansas City hall this year to assist in disinfection.

What if the event is canceled due to COVID?
We share your concern about cancelation and we want to do what we reasonably can to protect your investment. We intend to make any cancellation decision at least 3 weeks prior to the event if the state of affairs forces us to cancel. Worth sharing: As of September 15, 2020 the health mandates of the state of Missouri would allow the Kansas City event to proceed as planned using our distanced floor plan if it were held today.

Do I need to place a deposit when I sign up?
We've changed our deposit schedule to lessen the risk and burden on exhibitors, and we are making sure you get your money's worth. Deposit on 1 or 2 booth spaces is just $100 and 3 or more spaces is limited to $200. While your initial deposit remains non-refundable, you receive substantial value from your involvement from the day you apply including:

  • Enhanced entry in our exhibitor list with logo, website link, full contact information and embedded video capabilities (Other shows charge hundreds for this, and don't offer the video service)
  • Inclusion in our banner rotation program. The average banner in our program for 2020 saw over 500k displays.
  • Show specials listing so you can attract sales before, during and after the show.

Competitors charge more than the cost of a booth to provide similar services. Since our website sees up to 80,000 visits monthly during show season, we think you will agree that even if the show were cancelled, you'll get more value from DAX than any other show offers! The DAX shows are likely to be the first shows of 2021. The sooner you apply for space, the better your positioning and the sooner you can take advantage of all we have to offer.
